Wolf Spider

This shot of a wolf spider was taken at Powerstock Common nature reserve on my Zuiko Olympus OM 80mm F4 macro lens on the Olympus OM Telescopic Auto Tube 65-116 at 1x magnification. The flash power was reduced with the use of the Olympus T32 ND4 filters on the Olympus OM T28 twin flash heads.

He was a skittish little fellow who at the slightest movement would dive down behind the log he was sitting on, so I had to wait lying down in front of the log for him to pop back up again. This shot was taken just as he reappeared over the side of the log.

Technique:

Camera: Olympus OM 4ti

Lens: Zuiko Olympus OM 80mm F4 macro

Aperture: F16

Flash: Olympus OM T28 twin flash with Olympus OM T32 ND4 filters.

Film: Kodak E100G
