New Forest Mushrooms

This is following on from recent mushroom posts, and this one is showing some more natural light shots of mushrooms taken in the New Forest, at Knightwood Oak & Matley Wood.

First off those from Knightwood Oak, all taken with my Zuiko Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens and with the camera on a tripod set up to avoid camera shake. A little mushroom under a bigger one at F8.

Two shots of a group of yellow mushrooms, the second I spotted on a medium green grass before recomposing and firing.

and the last one from Knightwood Oak that of a white mushroom hiding under some Holly at F8. An exposure compensation of -1 gave the best detail in the white highlights.

and finally one from Matley Wood, also at F8, with the habitat of a woodland floor in Autumn.

All on Fuji Velvia 50.
