Dunrobin Castle, Scotland

Stopped off at Dunrobin Castle whilst getting supplies for the holiday. Weather was great and discovered that they had a bird display on within the grounds. Timing couldn’t have been better as it started a couple of minutes after arriving.

This is the castle taken with my Zuiko Olympus OM 24mm F2 lens on Sensia 200 slide film.

All of the shots of the birds of prey were taken with my Tokina 400mm F5.6 lens on the same roll of Sensia 200 slide film. The handler was also very entertaining, so recommend going along just for this if you get the opportunity.

The first seemed more interested in the food than flying

I know its time to fly but this is sooo nice!

Next up was an owl which I just about managed to get in frame …

On the next circuit I was bit more prepared plus it decided to pose briefly, and so got this sequence of shots.

Who me!

Who me?

apparently, so here goes ….

and finally and example of most of my roll, a bit of a blur as they did move reasonably quick! Plus I don’t have autofocus with the Olympus OM4 ti.

I think this is a typical blurred shot others may say this shows movement!

I have been shooting nature with Olympus digital & Olympus OM camera gear on film since 2004
