Titchfield Haven

Visited the Hampshire Titchfield Haven nature reserve recently in not ideal weather conditions. Work has been carried out since the previous visit a couple years back, with the building of another bird hide on the Meon shore side. If you do plan to visit please note that the nature reserve is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.

There were only a few Oystercatchers, Dunlins & Lapwings about so tried taking bird in flight shots. These 2 shots used different techniques, the first deliberately blurring of the scene to get a sense of movement, whilst with the second image freezing of the action to achieve a sharper image.
