Whitemill – A different path

Set out with my E620 Olympus camera along with the Olympus 80mm F4 film lens to Whitemill today. Took this along instead of my film camera as it was raining and I wanted to save film. I also used the film T28 twin flash system on the digital body.

Instead of turning left out of the car park and heading towards the Mill, decided to turn right as noticed a path that went along the river. This route offered up similar macro opportunities to the normal direction.

These are the best from the day.

The Mayflies were swarming so there was a lot of feasting on them, including Scorpion flies. Found 2 enjoying a tasty meal.
