Langford Lakes nature reserve and a Sedge Warbler

Visited Langford Lakes nature reserve, one of Wiltshire Wildlife Trusts reserves, for the first time at the beginning of May, which was reasonably close to Salisbury where I was staying over the weekend. It has a reasonable sized car park and there is easy access to 3 hides besides the lakes. There was also a lot of work going on at the far end of the nature reserve which appeared to be intending to extend the range of reserve.

This Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) wanted to make its presence felt, and so was easily found singing on several occasions on the same perch, that conveniently happened to be very close to the path.
