This post has a selection of photo’s of waders seen at Titchfield Haven nature reserve, all outside the Meon Shore hide on the south scrape. The first wader is a Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa)

There was also surprisingly a lot of Snipe (Gallinago gallinago), and here is a shot of 1 of them.

This visit also resulted in my first sightings of 2 different waders.

The Ruff (Philomachus pugnax), a migrant medium sized wader, which has a shorter bill to that of the Godwits.
