Loch Maree Slattadale to Tollie walk

The Slattadale to Tollie walk has a clear path that starts off through pine woodland and then takes you alongside Loch Maree. It offers excellent views of Loch Maree’s islands and the mountains Slioch and Beinn Eighe. You can, like us, decide how far you wish to walk as the return is back from whence you came. The full distance is approx 5 miles.

Here is Slioch with Loch Maree’s islands in the foreground.

I used the Zuiko Olympus 35-80mm F2.8 lens to zoom in on the red tip pines and Beinn Eighe in the background.

Here is a panorama taken just before starting the return, again looking back along the path, that captures both mountains and Loch Maree.

The final shot is down by Loch Maree’s shoreline alongside the pine forest before the car park.
