The Ruins of the Templars Chapel walk from West Burton in the Yorkshire Dales

The Ruins of the Templars Chapel walk includes a waterfall and on a fine weather day excellent views of Wensleydale and Bishopdale. The start of the walk is from the Dales village of West Burton, with parking available in and around the village, and the waterfall is just past the old mill at the lower end of the village.

Once again, similar to the previous post, a couple of different creative effects on the waterfall, the 1st using Topaz Detail desaturate and the 2nd with Topaz Glow.

Once you have admired the waterfall, the next stage is up a steep hill via a winding path up. The views are worth the climb plus this is the worst part of the walk, the rest is easy along defined paths and tracks.

This is the view looking back across the village of West Burton.

The Ruins themselves aren’t much too look at to be honest, however you are rewarded with more good views afterwards as shown in the last set of images here.
