A collection of birds

This collection of bird shots were taken with my Olympus EM5 and Sigma 50-500 lens at several different venues throughout the month of October. The first three are from Middlebere Farm, the fourth from Blashford Lakes, and the remainder from Stanpit Marsh.

A Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) using the top of tree as a lookout.

A Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita).

This is my first photo of a Female Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla).

Another first, this time an Osprey (Pandion haliaetus).

Continuning with the 1st theme, this is my 1st shot of Linnet (Carduelis cannabina).

Another two, of the small variety, a Pied Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

and a Skylark (Alauda arvensis)

The last of the collection is a Curlew (Numenius arquata).
