Brantfell

Brantfell is found a short walkable distance from the town of Bowness-on-Windermere in the Lake District. The walk is all uphill from Bowness, taking you along the National Trust footpath past Post Knott where there is a viewpoint. By the way I found the view at Post Knott to be quite restricted due to the surrounding treeline.

The walk from Post Knott up to Brantfell is well worth it, as this sits far above the treeline and on a good weather day like ours you are afforded excellent 360 degree panorama view of the surrounding district and Lake Windermere as shown by the photo’s here.
