Farlington Marshes Short-eared owl

The title gives it all away! This post is all about my first sighting of a pair of Short-eared owls (Asio flammeus) at Farlington Marshes Hampshire & Isle of Wight wildlife trust reserve.

I was fortunate enough to see them on a visit to the reserve middle of November last year. I did manage to get some reasonably decent photo’s plus a little bit of movie footage of a owl in flight as well as sitting on the ground with the Olympus EM5 MKII camera and Sigma 50-500 lens.

The photo’s first, then followed by the short movie.
