Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus), Kingcombe Meadows

Kingcombe Meadows is another nature reserve site belonging to Dorset Wildlife Trust. This one is situated outside of Dorchester, close to the village Toller Porcorum. There are several fields surrounding the site, which in Summer time come alive with many different types of flowers and butterflies. Most of the time the butterflies were on the wing but I managed to get this Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus).
