Love is in the air!
Having found the UK Butterfly Conservation nature reserve site Alners Gorse to be so good, I visited two of their other reserves situated in Easton on Portland, Broadcroft Quarry & Perryfields Quarry.
It did take some time to find the Broadcroft Quarry reserve, so hope this helps along with the map below. When you turn into Grove Road in Easton the entrance to the quarry road, where you can park, is on your right, opposite the football entrance. Parking by the playing fields, it is a very short walk through them to the entrance (if the quarry gates are shut). This nature reserve site is on a disused limestone quarry site.
The parking for Perryfields Quarry is lot easier to find, as it is directly opposite the museum in Easton (There is a map below as well). Once parked, you just walk up a steep bank to the nature reserve. This is another disused quarry area.
It did seem on this day that love was definitely in the air. First were the Small Blues (Cupido minimus)

Got a little closer with a different lens.

and then the Six-spot Burnet (Zygaena filipendulae) moths
