Garston Wood Snowdrops

This weekend so the annual visit to Garston Wood in Dorset to photograph a particular patch of snowdrops found near the edge of the wood beside the road. This time around the shoot was exlusively using the Olympus EM5 with the legacy Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens, along with the use of yellow and blue cards as back drops in a couple of the pictures.

For stability I used the Manfrotto Pixi Evo 2 Mini tripod, which in my opinion is an excellent small, light, portable tripod ideal for these type of situations where you want to shoot at ground level. It features two different leg angles with a sliding selector, and two-section legs, adjustable in five different steps.

Here are the results of this annual snowdrop shoot.

For the remaining three I selected different points of focus within the frame to create differing effects.
