First good results with the new canon gear

You may not be that surprised to hear that I have been putting my new Canon gear through it’s paces over the last couple of weeks, the Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera and Canon 100-400 EF f/4.5-5.6 IS II USM lens. This has provided the opportunity to become more familiar with the camera controls, such as ISO, aperture, autofocus settings etc, which turned out to be reasonably straight forward. You do not need to go into the Canon 7D Mark II camera menu to adjust many of the key features, instead you quickly access them via buttons on the top right hand side of the camera, handy!

Here is a selection of photo’s taken over the last couple of weeks from 3 venues, starting with the best results from one lovely sunny day out at Stanpit Marsh.
