Sopley Common Birds
The title says it all, this post is photos of birds spotted at Sopley Common before the strict covid -9 virus rules around movement came into force.
There are 3 different species of birds, a tree Pipit (Anthus trivialis), a Stonechat (Saxicola torquata), and Goldfinches (Carduelis carduelis).
Here the tree pipit took after the 1st part of its name, sitting in a tree.

This female Stonechat posed nicely on part of a dead tree.

and here are the goldfinches, with the 2nd and last shot capturing one of them eating the pine code seeds.
