A selection of waders from Normandy Marsh, Lymington

Another alternative location at the weekend, and a first visit this winter to Normandy Marsh, Lymington. This time around there were several different types of waders including one which I am not confident about my identification of , and here it is…

I think it may be a Grey Plover (Pluvialis squatarola)

The other waders were a Redshank (Tringa totanus)

A Curlew (Numenius arquata) from a different view point from the norm.

and a Greenshank (Tringa nebularia)

Finally, a flock of Dunlin coming into land. I particularly like the way the blurring of the motion worked.
