Springtails and a couple of ants

I decided to make a change to my diffusion flash set up as I thought insufficient light was striking the foreground. This entailed cutting a piece of card with a hole for the lens to point through and shaped to fit within the P Cokin filter holder. I then covered the card with tinfoil to reflect the light forwards.

The subjects for the latest experiment springtails and a couple of ants at Ramsdown nature reserve.
